We use corn, pumpkins & cranberries to make many tasty dishes. However, in 1630 Salem, both the Naumkeag people and the English would have also used these native plants to treat sickness. Join historian Dan Marshall as he demonstrates the tools and techniques of turning our Fall harvest favorites into 17th & 18th century medicines.
Dan Marshall is a museum professional that has shared his love of history with the public for over 25 years. He is currently Vice-President of the Salem Historical Society.
